On Tuesday evening, about 50 people attended the latest session in the wind energy series Conversations on Wind at the Gathering to talk about wind turbine construction. The Conversations on Wind sessions are open to the entire community as a way to learn more about various topics related to wind energy.
The topics of this session included local agreements, turbine size, how the turbines are connected underground, and how the energy produced is transported to the nation's power grid.

Senior Development Manager, Brenna Gunderson, explained one of the agreements the company is finalizing: "A Road Use Agreement ensures public roads taken care of, so conditions are the same, if not better, than before we started construction."
Gunderson went on to explain that landowner leases cite Apex’s responsibility to repair any damages caused during construction, including crop damage, compaction, and anything else that might be affected.
